2020 East Tennessee Fishing Show Pros(Appeared) January 23rd-26th - 2020
January 25th & 26th
Duck Dynasty star Tim Guraedy is best known to the show’s millions of hard-core fans as “Mountain Man,” the slow-talking air-conditioning repairman/radio host who is a neighbor to the Robertsons, the Louisiana family that made a fortune from its best-selling duck calls, and around which the show is based. Mountain Man is the only semi-regular cast member who is not a Robertson family member or employee of Duck Commander.
While he was born in Louisiana, Guraedy moved around a bit in his youth, spending time in Minnesota, Tennessee and Indiana. But the lure of the Bayou State was too strong, and Guraedy returned to Louisiana, where it has been his home for the past 25 years. He lives in West Monroe, LA, the small town made famous by Duck Dynasty and Duck Commander.
Guraedy is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both fresh and salt water fishing, as well as hunting for everything from wild boar to, well, ducks, of course.
January 23rd - 25th
Clay Dyer was born on May 23, 1978, without any lower limbs, no arm on the left side and a partial arm on the right. However, these limitations did not dampen his determination and positive spirit.
Clay began fishing at age 5. A natural competitiveness became evident early. Clay never allowed his physical disabilities to be an obstacle and began competing in fishing tournaments at age 15. He fished with FLW from 2000 to 2010 and began his career with BASS in 2012.
Clay spends the majority of his time sharing his life experiences through motivational and leadership presentations to various companies, charities and churches. Clay currently fishes the Bassmaster Open Series and select charity events, and is passionate about helping special needs kids.
Clay’s television appearances include ESPN, Fox, CNN Headline News, Versus, the Outdoor Channel, Fox Sports South, the 700 Club and CBS. Published articles about Clay have appeared in USA Today, Newsweek, Bassmaster, FLW Outdoors Magazine, and many more.
